This past Friday, Judge Judith Savage and Public Defender Mary McElroy spoke to Ms. Roderick's English 11 Honors class on the parallels between this year's Read Across Rhode Island selection Just Mercy and this year's Law Day topic of how the 14th Amendment has reshaped American law and society. Judge Savage and Ms. McElroy sparked an important discussion on race and justice and inspired a new generation to lead the charge for change in our judicial system.

SHOUT OUT TO THE AWESOME STAFF AT SHS!  THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR OUR STUDENTS!
