I know parents receive a ton fundraising initiatives; however, I am asking the high school community to support Gallagher Middle School.  Please see the letter from Dr. Beuavais.

We are thrilled to announce the Gallagher Middle School Science Olympiad Team won the state title on Saturday, April 1st and will represent Rhode Island at the National Science Olympiad Competition in Dayton, Ohio on May 20, 2017. Our team of seventeen students and three coaches have worked tirelessly for many months preparing for this competition. Winning the state championship is a tremendous accomplishment and recognizes our students’ hard work and commitment to this challenging science competition.

The total cost to send our team to Nationals is approximately $14000. We ask that you consider making a donation to assist us in covering the cost of this trip by purchasing a May Calendar Raffle Ticket for $10. Raffle tickets may be purchased at GMS.

On behalf of Alex, Caitlyn, Elena, Max, Dawen, Ben, Adam, Bailey, Caoilinn, Katie, Aedan, Alex, Ashleigh, Garrett, Tori, Cristina, Luc, Mr. Altomari, Mrs. McCurdy, and Mrs. Ramos, we thank you for considering this request.
