Weekly Update 1/22/16

The week's SHS Faculty PD.

I hope everyone survived the winter storm this weekend.  A few of my colleagues in Maryland and Pennsylvania may not have school this week as they dig out from 30+ inches this weekend!

Hockey and basketball games from this past weekend are being re-scheduled.  Check out www.riil.org for all the latest schedules.

Recently, 22 students including freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors attended the RI Tech
Career Fair hosted by school-to-career coordinators at Bryant University. In addition to participating in workshops led by Apple, Microsoft, and AT&T, they had the opportunity to visit 20 exhibitors. Most popularly visited tables were those from RI State Police, Apple, MTTI and Dassault Systemes Simulia.

SHS chorus students had an opportunity to sing with Sara Potenza this weekend at her concert at the MET.  Check out the video post on Facebook.

Second quarter ends Tuesday, January 26th.  Get your make-up work completed.

Have a great week!
