Chromebook Distribution Class of 2018

Please visit www.shsri.org for additional information!

April 8, 2015

Dear SHS Parents and Guardians,

Smithfield Public Schools is excited that our ninth graders will be receiving Chromebooks for their use in the classroom. By having individual access to the Chromebooks, each student will be able to take advantage of using technology as a tool for creating and writing, to present and publish their work, collaborate with students and teachers, and to engage in research.

Chromebooks will be distributed to ninth grade students and parents on Monday, April 13th and Wednesday, April 15th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  We will be distributing Chromebooks by advisory teacher so it is important to note which night you are to receive the Chromebook.
